Reach Our Goal
The Peace Officers Memorial Foundation of Cook County (POMFCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to honoring every peace officer who has died in the line of duty. We are building the first permanent memorial in Cook County to ensure their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
A new memorial design has been completed, and land has been donated at Cermak Woods in Lyons, IL. We are now raising the final $200,000 needed to break ground and begin construction.

Behind the Memorial
The Cook County Forest Preserve District Board of Commissioners has donated property in the Cermak Woods Forest Preserve in west suburban Lyons for our organization to erect the proposed Cook County Peace Officers Memorial.
