Welcome to our official website. I invite you to visit our site frequently to keep current on our events, fundraisers, and our annual May memorial ceremony as we work our way towards building the Cook County Peace Officers Memorial which is for all officers within Cook County.

One of the first goals of our Foundation was to have a special day established to honor all of the peace officers operating in Cook County. With the help of Cook County Commissioner Peter N. Silvestri (9th) and the support of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, every May 10th is now recognized as Peace Officer Day of Remembrance and Recognition in Cook County by County Board Resolution.

The Cook County Forest Preserve District Board of Commissioners has donated property in the Cermak Woods Forest Preserve in west suburban Lyons for our organization to erect the proposed Cook County Peace Officers Memorial honoring and commemorating the sacrifice of over 760 police and peace officers killed in the line of duty or performance of duty from throughout Cook County. We now turn our attention to raising the funds needed to complete this project. "the original design, with an estimated cost of $3 million, has been recently modified to make the project more economically feasible. Our Foundation is working hard to raise another $200,000, in addition to the donations we already have, so that we can break ground on this project in the near future. 

I extend an invitation to all to help support our Foundation and this worthwhile project. We are working hard to raise the remaining $200,000 needed to complete construction, but we can't do it alone. Please help us by supporting our fundraisers, donating items for our raffles, encouraging local businesses and organizations to make financial contributions or by making a donation of your time or money.
